This book is a great read - it's written in a very accessible and approachable style, and I particularly enjoyed the way the stories from George's life are structured - moving forward and backwards in time to build the overall themes and narrative, rather than laid out chronologically.
George's life and experiences are a thrilling and truly inspiring read from start to finish. I couldn't put it down and actually read the whole thing in a single sitting, which I don't think I've ever done before!
I cannot recommend this book highly enough!
This book is such an easy read. George details his journey from his war torn birthplace, to Hackney estates on to the suburbs of Surrey where he found his calling. Life kept knocking him down, but he reveals how his relationship with God kept pulling him through. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wondering how to notice the signs that prove you can achieve anything with faith and belief.
A captivating read and powerful testimony to what happens when we let go of control and surrender to God's purposes. I love his honesty and humility. I read this in one afternoon - just couldn't put it down.
